However I can remember a Perch disease killing a lot of fish on Worsbro' reservoir in Barnsley. There were some real whoppers. I would love to try and catch a 3lb fish in the autumn myself. There is a member of the Perch fishers club (or whatever they are called) who lives just around the corner from me who may be persuaded to take me to one of the better venues later in the year. In saying that the Wharfe has some fine specimens and the river fish appeals to me a bit more.

Nice to see that you are a man of honour Dave, there are some that would have photographed the dead un and claimed the capture blaming the funny colour on the camera. Mind you you had a witness ;)

My best perch is a tad less than 3lbs so.........

ConradConradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18434444638382567172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558987905791642824.post-67245260597522294742010-07-12T16:10:56.799+01:002010-07-12T16:10:56.799+01:00Looking forward to the Autumn as I hope to get tha...Looking forward to the Autumn as I hope to get that elusive 4lb plus Perch.Been close but not just yet.I can't find any real incentive to fish for them in the summer.Monty Dalrymplehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07793157290306665840noreply@blogger.com
