About Me

My photo
Dave Burr
I think I was born a fanatical angler. I've been fishing since I was old enough to paddle in a stream and catch bullheads with a jam jar. I got my first rod and reel at the age of 8 in 1964 and have been at it ever since. I was a police officer for 22 years, but medical retirement brought that to a premature end and I now live in Herefordshire where the slow pace of life suits me just fine.
